In 2013, an 18-month-old and his mother experienced a terrible car accident. The toddler was rushed to UC Davis Health and underwent several reconstructive surgeries throughout a six weeks span. The toddler’s mother and family put their trust in his care team. Because of this, his life was saved by the amazing team of medical professionals.—Janell Conner
