This piece is based on UC Davis Health’s core value of inclusion. This kaleidoscope of hearts is reflection of life’s transient and interconnected moments. Each heart reflects its own unique story with different sizes, colors, and orientations representing the ever-changing spectrum of human experience. The hearts merge forming an abstract mosaic to suggest how our collective wellbeing is intertwined. It is a reminder that the heart is at the center of what we do, to love others despite our differences and create a compassionate healthcare system for all.—Hannah Ellen Davis
