Surgery - Burn
Surgical Critical Care
Dr. Romanowski strives to provide comprehensive burn care from acute injury through reconstruction. She believes that while burn injury is life changing, people can recover from their injuries to lead happy and productive lives.
In my spare time I enjoy reading and knitting. I also enjoy hiking and camping with my family on weekends.
Dr. Romanowski is a general surgeon who specializes in Burn surgery and Surgical Critical Care. She has special clinical interest and expertise in Acute Burn Care and Burn Reconstruction in both the adult and pediatric populations.
Dr. Romanowski's research focuses on health disparities in burn care. Specifically, she focuses on improving outcomes for elderly burn patients through measuring and finding ways to treat or prevent frailty. Additionally, she examines the effects of social determinants of health on outcomes following injury as strives to improve care for all patients.
