An Innovative Approach

The UC Davis Cancer Care Network (CCN) began in 1999, when UC Davis Health was invited by a California community, Marysville, to partner in the development of localized cancer centers. In 2000, the Rideout Cancer Center in Marysville opened as an affiliate of the CCN. From this initial affiliation, the CCN has grown and established additional partnerships in Northern California: the Gene Upshaw Memorial Cancer Center in Truckee, Marshall Cancer Center in Cameron Park, and Enloe Health Regional Cancer Center in Chico.

Over the years, comprehensive network services evolved to include access to clinical trials, virtual tumor boards, nursing education, and the highest quality oncology care.

Affiliates: United by Collaboration

The UC Davis Cancer Care Network is a unique partnership among cancer centers around Northern and Central California where we work together to offer patients world-class, leading-edge oncology care close to home. Hospital-based community cancer centers become affiliates of the UC Davis Cancer Care Network through an evaluation process led by UC Davis. By synergizing the strengths of an academic health system with local, community-based care, the network formalizes the commitment to collaboration with community providers by promoting the delivery of advanced, quality care across the region.
