Clery Act Notice of Annual Security and Fire Safety Reports Policy
PURPOSE
To inform medical school applicants and current students of annual security and safety reports distributed by UC Davis.

POLICY
All students will receive an annual notification of the UC Davis Annually Security Report and Fire Safety Report. The report is produced in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Act. It includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings owned or controlled by the University, and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. This report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, timely warning of crimes, sexual assault and policies relating to personal safety at UC Davis. The fire report includes UC Davis’ fire reporting statistics and policies.
PROCEDURE
- The Clery Act Campus Safety and Crime Reports are released annually on October 1. Medical School applicants have access to this report on the admissions page and in the admissions application portal.
- Current medical students receive an annual email notification of the updated report and have access to the report on the Clery Act website.
