POLICY

  1. University of California policies applying to the disclosure of information from student records are consistent with federal and state regulations.
  2. Applicants should be aware that letters and statements of recommendation or evaluation prepared, submitted, or retained with a documented understanding of confidentiality are not subject to inspection by applicants.
  3. Internal evaluation forms, including interview reports, are included in this category. (A statement of University of California policies on confidentiality of records may be obtained from the Office of the President, University of California, 300 Lakeside Drive, Oakland, CA 94612-3550.)
