Philosophy of Care

Dr. Yellowlees has many years of experience in treating physicians and other clinical and academic professionals and has written several books about the special needs of such individuals.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Yellowlees has been involved in patient care, research and education for the past 30 years, focusing on psychiatry, physician wellbeing, telemedicine and health informatics. He is an experienced and successful principal research investigator and currently hold 3 federal grants having obtained prior funding from multiple sources in both the USA and Australia. He has developed and taught hybrid postgraduate programs in health informatics, psychiatry and clinician wellbeing and has been involved with mentoring fellows and young faculty for over 25 years in both psychiatry and health informatics. Dr. Yellowlees specializes in seeing physicians and faculty as patients.
