Dr. Holmes believes that empathy, inclusivity, and patient empowerment are the cornerstones of effective psychiatric care. She emphasizes a collaborative approach, viewing each patient’s unique experiences and values as essential to their healing journey. Rooted in topics liberation psychology, Dr. Holmes aims to foster a therapeutic environment where patients feel understood and supported.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Holmes is deeply invested in advancing patient-centered care within outpatient psychiatry. Her clinical interests include trainee mental health, psychotherapy, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Dr. Holmes is committed to innovative approaches in psychiatric treatment, particularly for undeserved communities, and continually seeks ways to enhance patient outcomes.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Holmes is passionate about mentoring and teaching in psychiatry, with a particular focus on trainee mental health, psychotherapy, and liberation psychology.
