Congratulations to radiation oncologist Megan Daly, M.D., a recipient of the Diamond Doc Award for patient care in the third quarter of FY24.

She was one of the 170 UC Davis Health physicians who were awarded the Diamond Doc Award for their patient care in the third quarter of FY24. The Diamond Doc Award is very special because it comes from patients themselves. The award celebrates physicians who demonstrated careful listening, clear explanations, and respectful partnerships by receiving 90th percentile or higher scores on patient surveys. The award recognizes physicians for their extraordinary care and unwavering dedication to excellence in health care and is a testament to their commitment to our patients’ well-being.

Recipients of this year's Diamond Doc Award include radiation oncologists Shyam Rao, M.D. (first quarter of FY24), Ruben Fragoso, M.D., Ph.D. (second quarter of FY24) and Megan Daly, M.D. (second quarter of FY24).

There will be an event in the fall to celebrate all the physicians who receive a Diamond Doc Award throughout the year. We look forward to honoring our Diamond Docs and the excellent care they give to our patients.
