Radiation oncologists honored in magazine's 'Top Doctors' list

Radiation oncologists Megan Daly, Ruben Fragoso and Shyam Rao are included in Sacramento Magazine's 2018 list of top doctors.

Daly specializes in the treatment of lung, lymphomas, head and neck cancers and breast cancers.

Fragoso specializes in the treatment of central nervous tumors that can arise in the adult and pediatric populations, lymphomas, and breast cancer.

Rao specializes in the treatment of head and neck, brain, breast and lung cancers.

Daly, Fragoso and Rao, along with one hundred seventy physicians from throughout UC Davis Health are honored. The physicians are from 64 specialty areas, including 20 pediatric subspecialties. The line up of regional experts appears in the December 2018 issue.

Sacramento Magazine’s annual Top Doctors list is compiled by a third-party firm, based on peer-review surveys. Thousands of doctors from various health systems and medical groups are asked to nominate colleagues they deem best in their given specialties, according to Professional Research Services, which compiles the list for the magazine.
