We offer a 12-month ACGME-accredited comprehensive Obstetric Anesthesia Fellowship.

Didactics and Scholarly Activity

Scheduled weekly one-hour lectures are presented by OB anesthesia faculty on a range of core topics.  Our program emphasizes this protected time and with didactic sessions ranging from a mix of lectures, article discussions and PBLD’s. All fellows will complete a scholarly project during their Fellowship. Preparation begins with Program Director discussions in the first quarter of fellowship. Direct assistance of the fellow’s project occurs with frequent faculty mentor meetings.  All fellows are expected to present at Grand Rounds once during fellowship. We provide intensive oral board review sessions with faculty who are official oral board examiners. Fellows have the opportunity to interact with rotating residents and interns and serve as teachers while on service and in the operating room.
