Our Acute pain team has a busy and expanding inpatient pain service where approximately 4,000 peripheral nerve blocks are performed annually, many with catheter placement and neuraxial blocks.  The smaller fellowship allows for individualized attention by a team of highly experienced and fellowship trained faculty and the ability to gain a large procedural volume.

• 4- week blocks (13 total)
• 9 blocks of Acute Pain Service
  4 days a week on average
• 1 block: Same Day Surgery Center or the Main Orthopedic OR
  Twice a month of OR experience
• 1 block: inpatient chronic pain
  Two 2-week blocks
• 1 block vacation throughout the year
• 1 block research/scholarly activity day throughout the year
  2 Friday’s a month
• 20 vacation days
• 5 conference days
