Butterflies in Your Stomach by Sariya Singh

“Butterflies in Your Stomach”
Painting, Watercolor on Legion Stonehenge Aqua Paper
Butterflies in your stomach anatomical watercolor

Sariya Singh
My watercolor print of butterflies in an anatomical sketch of a stomach illustrating how I feel starting my journey at UC Davis. Many of my patient have a chance to heal through translational research with never before used techniques. The butterflies in my stomach is a phrase that symbolizes hope and trust the patients are putting in us to help them navigate through a journey they will pave for others. For me, Inclusivity is the feeling in your gut you get when you have all the support! Everyone working together day and night combining their expertise: GMP facility, the Institute of Regenerative Medicine, the Cancer Center, ALPHA Stem Cell Clinic, to help patients find their butterflies back in their stomach.Sariya Singh
