Kintsugi is a Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold seams, which would symbolize the heart being healed. It would be put together again and found to have more beauty than it once began with. Just because it was broken, does not mean that it could not become whole again. In another hidden meaning, there is a semicolon, which symbolizes hope and the continuation of life in those who have suffered or currently suffer from a variety of mental health disorders. The discreetness of the symbol further reiterates the fact that mental health disorders are not easily seen, but it is still a crucial part of healing that is often overlooked.”—DenMarie Abad
