Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

The Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SACHCC) was formed to address educational and economic opportunities in the Greater Sacramento Region with the goals of promoting business, industry, commerce, and culture within the minority community; increasing a better understanding between Spanish-speaking businesses, and encouraging the development of resources from the City and County of Sacramento to promote and enhance the welfare and building of the local economy. In more than 50 years, the mission has remained the same to provide access to opportunities that lead to financial prosperity for all.

The SACHCC team works hard to create access and opportunities for our small business community. With programs such as Emprende Sacramento, which is our 10-week Spanish-speaking program composed of sessions geared towards early-stage businesses or businesses with revenue under $1 million on core business concepts and practices, small businesses graduate from the program with a better sense and understanding of running their business to become successful.

One of our Emprende Sacramento graduates, Jessy Flores, who opened Mi Tiendita Munaycha, a Peruvian artisan store in Old Sacramento says, “The SACHCC has helped me in many ways through the Emprende Sacramento program and giving me guidance to start my business. From there, I have been able to participate in many exclusive events, media interviews, and much more that has brought much success to my business in the one year of opening.” Jessy is a great example of a small business who is constantly creating opportunities for herself with the tools given to her.

Throughout the year, SACHCC also offers monthly networking events for our members with the Buenos Dias In Person Meet Ups which are hosted in various businesses and organizations throughout the Greater Sacramento Region. Through these, members get the opportunity to network with other members, exchange ideas, information and ultimately collaborate and grow together. Elevate Sacramento, is also another monthly hands-on workshop series we offer throughout the year, where members get to learn from various topics, such as "Marketing Your Business", and "Learning how to do business with the State", and more.

In addition to the numerous monthly opportunities, SACHCC has three major Signature Events where each highlight the contributions from the organization: the Salud Business Awards, are given annually to extraordinary individuals and organizations that have attained or contributed to business excellence; the State of Hispanics serves as the premier forum for Hispanic economics across our region showcasing the findings from the annual Hispanic Economic Report which offers a insight into the inequities that affect the Hispanic population and our economic impact and lastly, the Latina Estrella Awards honors the exceptional women who are leading the way in their professions, in business and in the community.

Our support for our small business community is essential and ultimately makes our economy stronger.
