My son was playing his first football game of the 2023 season and in the fourth quarter landed wrong on his left arm after completing a tackle. He rolled in pain, and I took him to the UC Davis Pediatric Emergency Department because he was in so much pain.
He was admitted and scheduled for a surgery to fix a radial head fracture on his left arm. When we were in pre-op, Julian mentioned being a fan of the 49ers and to our surprise, his surgeon Dr. Leshikar drew an amazing logo for him. It was a great surprise for him when he woke up after surgery.
Thank you to all at UC Davis Children’s Hospital for going above and beyond. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. They made sure Julian was the most comfortable he could be while at the hospital.
