When Damian Del Rio was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) – a very rare combination of four related heart defects that occur together – his life hung in the balance. Damian needed specialized care to survive. Thanks to UC Davis Children’s Hospital and our Pediatric Heart Center, he got it.
Now he is able to pursue his life’s dream of becoming a meteorologist – he made his debut with weatherman Adam Epstein on Fox40.
