MOU Focuses on Scholar Exchange and International Patient Programming

(Sacramento) — UC Davis Health and Hebei Medical University held a formal memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony in Shijiazhuang, China on May 8, 2019. The MOU establishes a working partnership between the two institutions for collaboration, scholar exchange/observership and international patient programming.
Five faculty from UC Davis Health made the trip to China, not only to acknowledge this new partnership, but to also build bridges and foster international cooperation by meeting with several institutions during their week-long visit.
UC Davis Health physicians who traveled to China include Dr. Yung-Wei (Willie) Chi, Cardiovascular Medicine; Dr. Hong Liu, Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine; Dr. Hilary Brodie and Dr. Peter Belafsky from Otolaryngology/ENT, and Dr. Matthew Mell, Vascular Surgery.
