Congratulations to radiation oncologists, Megan Daly, M.D. and Xiao (Jason) Zhao, M.D., M.E.M., recipients of the Diamond Doc Award for patient care in the first quarter of FY25.

They were two of the 150 UC Davis Health physicians who were awarded the Diamond Doc Award for their patient care in the first quarter of FY25. The Diamond Doc Award is very special because it comes from patients themselves. The award celebrates physicians who demonstrated careful listening, clear explanations, and respectful partnerships by receiving 90th percentile or higher scores on patient surveys. The award recognizes physicians for their extraordinary care and unwavering dedication to excellence in health care and is a testament to their commitment to our patients’ well-being.
