At UC Davis Health, we want patients to get the world-class care they deserve. That’s why our physician liaison team makes it easier for referring physicians to send their patients to us.

The team acts as a direct connection to information and communication between UC Davis Health and referring physicians and their staff. They help expedite the referral process, obtain follow-up information, resolve any issues related to patient referrals, and more.

How our team can help you:

  • Provide information and education about services, research programs, and physicians available at UC Davis Health
  • Facilitate access to PhysicianConnect for referring physicians and their staff
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and their staff to aid in patient access and appropriate follow-up communications
  • Arrange for opportunities to meet with UC Davis Health physicians either in your office or at UC Davis Health
  • Keep you abreast of special events in the community
  • Assist with continuing medical education information and events such as tumor boards, grand rounds, lunch-and-learns, and symposiums
  • Assist referring providers with UC Davis Health clinical trials and telemedicine (dependent on specialty access)
