Primary care provider resources
Because vascular problems are so common in primary care practices, the UC Davis Vascular Center maintains close ties with primary care providers, both within UC Davis Health and throughout the Sacramento region. The Vascular Center often provides telephone or telemedicine consultations to assist providers in ensuring their patients get the medical care they need. Vascular care guidelines developed for primary care providers are resources that help to identify when specialty care is needed.
In addition to participating in health system-wide efforts to develop care pathways for patients with vascular disease, the UC Davis vascular faculty participate in a variety of other educational programs.
