ASP App (Coming 2023!)

UC Davis Medical Center has partnered with Firstline, formerly Spectrum, to provide convenient antimicrobial guidance tailored to our unique patient and microbe populations. The app will be free to use and will be available on all iOS and Android devices. It can be downloaded from the Firstline website. New users should select "UC Davis Medical Center - Sacramento" during the initial setup which takes less than 1 minute.

Cellphone with appApp features include:

  • Guidelines - Links to every local antimicrobial guideline produced by UC Davis Medical Center and all relevant national guidelines with UC Davis-specific data incorporated into recommendations to streamline decision making.

  • Pathogens - Provides an extensive list of commonly seen microbes and important clinical notes, typical susceptibility patterns, treatment recommendations, and isolation requirements.

  • Antimicrobials - A complete list of our antimicrobial armamentarium with detailed dosing guidance, side effect lists, Clostridioides difficile risk, bioavailability and pharmacokinetic data, and relative costs.

The ASP App will be regularly updated with new information and important changes as microorganisms continue to evolve and treatment recommendations are modified. New content can additionally be requested and added if it fits a category listed above. Contact the ASP team for suggestions and questions.
