Average [Ca2+]i time courses recorded from untreated cells (black traces, Control) or cells preincubated with (-)-XeC (A; red trace) or Ry (B; blue trace). Extracellular Ca2+ was omitted prior to recordings. CPA and 2mM Ca2+-containing extracellular solution were applied as indicated. Each trace is an average of 20 traces recorded from individual cells in a typical experiment.
