Being a physician gives you the privilege to touch the lives of many people. I seek to provide the highest level of evidence based clinical care with the utmost empathy and understanding that each patient is their own individual. I hope to support patients in living their greatest quality of life, with a focus on empowering patients with education.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Faustin is a Family Medicine & Sports Medicine physician interested in the comprehensive care of patients and athletes of all ages and levels, including their medical ailments, mental health and musculoskeletal injuries. As a former Division I Track & Field Athlete, gymnast and volleyball player, she is personally invested in the health and healing of pediatric athletes. Dr. Faustin is skilled in diagnostic and therapeutic musculoskeletal ultrasound, along with facilitating the treatment of patients with modalities, such as targeted physical therapy, braces, exercise protocols, return to play protocols and ultrasound-guided steroid, platelet rich plasma & hyaluronic joint injections.

Dr. Faustin is the Associate Team Physician for the UC Davis Division I Collegiate Athletics team and the co-Head Team Physician for the USA Gymnastics Women's National Team, therefore has an expertise in taking care of collegiate athletes and gymnasts of all disciplines.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Faustin's academic/research interests align with the education of medical students, residents and fellows. She is interested in caring for the pediatric population and the collaborative treatment model of patients/athletes with mental health disorderes, female athlete triad/relative energy deficiency in sport and gymnastics injuries.
