As a physiatrist, I have a more wholistic approach to the care of my patients. Treating the underlying root causes of disease is a more important focus than just treating the symptoms. I believe the most important aspect of care is determining the events that led a patient to that particular point.
Dr. Shin is a general PM&R physician. He sees patients in his adult general rehabilitation and spine clinics as well as in the electrodiagnostic lab. He has a partidcular interest in amputee prosthetic management.
Dr. Shin's main academic interest lies in the educations of medical students, residents and fellows.
