Dr. Price's philosophy of care emphasizes clear and empathetic communication with patients and their families, ensuring that they feel supported and informed throughout the treatment process. He takes the time to understand each patient's unique needs, concerns, and goals in order to develop the ideal treatment plan each individual patient. He strives to improve each of his patient's quality of life with both technical expertise and compassionate care.
Dr. Price is a fellowship-trained complex and minimally invasive spine surgeon that treats all spinal conditions including degenerative disease (i.e herniatied discs, stenosis, myelopathy), tumors, complex deformity (i.e. scoliosis), revision surgery, and trauma. He uses innovative technology such as augemented reality, robotics, and endoscopic technology to deliver the best surigcal care possible. His minimally invasive approaches to spine surgery improves patient outcomes, reduces recovery times, and minimizes surgical risks.
Dr. Price is an expert in augmented reality (AR) technology. His research focuses on employing AR in the operating room to improve surgical outcomes by enhancing surgical precision and efficiency. Outside of the operating room he is developing novel AR and virtual reality technology to expand current surgical applications to ultimately improve patient care. Additionally, he has an interest in studying the role of cannabis in treating back pain and post-surgical pain.
