My approach to Pediatric Anesthesiology is to focus on the individual patient’s (and family’s) needs. I work to understand each patient’s condition, including their emotional and developmental state. I work with families, discussing and educating about current best practice recommendations for the anesthetic plan, and prioritize safety and comfort with every step.
Dr. Anderson is a board certified Pediatric Anesthesiologist, offering care for children undergoing anesthesia for a wide variety of procedures and surgeries. She also specializes in care for adult patients with congenital or developmental syndromes. She has special clinical interest in neonatal care, pediatric trauma, and regional anesthesia to improve post-procedure pain control in pediatric patients.
Dr. Anderson’s chief academic interests involve improving in-hospital care for all pediatric patients. She is involved in Children’s Hospital Quality Improvement, and has served as Clinical Improvement lead for Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab and liaison with the Neonatal ICU. She has interest in developing new care and service-line treatment pathways, and a deep dedication to educating the anesthesiologists of our future generation.
