Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Tancredi's research interests reflect a focus on effective study designs and statistical analysis plans for biomedical research settings with clusters of correlated measurements, including cluster-randomized trials, longitudinal studies, and surveys that use complex probability sampling techniques. He collaborates broadly to improve the rigor, transparency, and impact of research in a variety of fields, including health services research, neurodevelopment/toxicology, environmental health, nutrition, and violence prevention. He teaches statistics and critical appraisal of evidence to pediatric resident physicians and fellows and graduate students in biostatistics, epidemiology, and nursing and health sciences leadership.
