Philosophy of Care
I value compassion when providing care to my patients. I use shared decision making to incorporate family and patients' needs and values into individualized treatment plans. Working at an academic institution among colleagues who use evidence based medicine enables me to provide high quality care.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Schulmeiser is a pediatric endocrinologist providing care to children with a wide variety of endocrine conditions, including thyroid, adrenal, puberty, and growth disorders, as well as those with diabetes. She has a special clinical interest in caring for those with disorders of sexual differentiation.
Research/Academic Interests
Dr. Schulmeister's research focuses on evaluating and improving healthcare delivery systems to better care for underserved populations.
