Pediatric otolaryngology anomalies can affect growth and development during critical periods in a child's life. I believe in a multidisciplinary, family-centered, and holistic approach to ensure that we are meeting the essential needs of the child. This requires respect and dignity, information sharing, participation, and collaboration between the patient, family, and members of the health team.
Bola Olarewaju is a pediatric nurse practitioner who specializes in otolaryngology. She has special clinical interest and expertise in airway anomalies, tracheostomy dependence, aerodigestive care, vascular malformations, and cleft & craniofacial anomalies.
Bola Olarewaju's research interest focuses on cleft and craniofacial conditions and tracheostomy dependence. Locally, she chairs committees and sit on the pediatric nurse practitioner board. She volunteers as a guest lecturer for nurses overseas as part of her global outreach.
