Highest volume of kidney transplants
Adult and pediatric kidney transplants were on the rise at UC Davis Health in 2020, with the transplant team having had one of its highest volume years ever. The UC Davis Transplant Center has consistently been among the nation’s top programs in terms of kidney transplant volume. Outcomes for UC Davis Health kidney transplant patients also consistently meet or exceed the national average.
Unique dialysis service provides bridge to transplant
To better serve children waiting for a kidney, our program continues to be the region’s only outpatient peritoneal dialysis service for patients under 10 years of age.
