The MyUCDavisHealth app brings your child’s care team to you, allowing you to have a medical appointment from the comfort of your own home using your smartphone, tablet or personal computer. Video visits offer convenience for pre- and post-procedure care, routine diagnostics and follow-up appointments. Talk to your child’s care team to find out if telehealth video visits are an option for you and your child.
For families with UC Davis Health care coverage, accessing care has never been easier. Parents and guardians can connect with a UC Davis care team using our online Express Care option for same-day and extended-hours video visits to discuss your child’s non-emergency issues such as fevers, sore throats, stomach discomfort and flu-like symptoms.
To keep families connected with their child during their hospital stay, family members can now join in on video visits with their family member or care team.
The webcam program equips every bed at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with a webcam. This allows parents and families to see their baby through a secure connection from a home computer, tablet or cellphone 24/7, even when they are not at the bedside.
