Excellence in life support
UC Davis Children’s Hospital and UC Davis Medical Center received the Gold Level ELSO Award for Excellence in Life Support last summer for our extracorporeal life support program, which provides lifesaving support for failing organ systems.
The award from the Extracorporeal Life Support Organization recognizes centers that demonstrate exceptional commitment to evidence-based processes and quality measures, staff training, patient satisfaction and clinical care.
