UC Davis Health Trauma Prevention

The UC Davis Childhood Injury Prevention Program is dedicated to improving childhood safety in the community. Each year in Sacramento hundreds of children are disabled or die from preventable injuries. In fact, more children are affected by injuries every year than all other childhood illnesses and diseases combined. The goal of the Childhood Injury Prevention Program is to reduce preventable injuries among children in the Sacramento Region by fostering a safe and violence-free community.
