See Me As A Person

Course Description

See Me as a Person ModelSee Me As A Person is a 2-day workshop, which teaches the “Four Therapeutic Practices,” of Attuning, Wondering, Following and Holding. The aim of this program is to improve quality, safety, and the patient experience. It provides tips to help our health care team more consistently create therapeutic connections with patients and their families. Participants gain the personal awareness, professional knowledge, and practical and repeatable skills required to see each patient as a person with his or her own unique story and response to the need for care. Most importantly we address the precursor to deploying the Four Therapeutic Practices, which is Self-Care. Participants will be able to practice the skills learned in this workshop with their colleagues, their patients, and even at home with their loved ones.
