Leading an Empowered Organization (LEO)

Leading an Empowered Organization (LEO) is an interactive, 3-day workshop, that introduces key components to building empowered work environments, including:

  • leading change
  • developing capacity
  • building relationships
  • articulating expectations
  • differentiating between responsibility, authority, and accountability.

Facilitators use interactive activities to elevate participant skills including highlighting examples of experiences leading change, reflection, dialogue, and in-the-moment practice.

This class is only open to UC Davis Health employees.

Break room facilities on 1st floor (microwave, filtered water, vending, refrigerator). Please bring a reusable beverage container.

Continuing Education Contact Hours

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 19.5 contact hours.

Attendees must attend all three days to receive C.E. credit. Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

Registrations are approved after your deposit is received. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class.

Cancellation must be requested five days before the class date to receive a deposit refund.

Parking

Parking is available in parking structure 4, lots 12, 17, 22, 22 Auxiliary, 30, 30 Auxiliary, Broadway, EDD, and DOJ with either a B permit or daily permit. Daily permits are available for purchase with the ParkMobile app using zone number 42201 or at a parking kiosk. Please visit Parking and Transportation Services for more information.
