PEP Team

We collaborate with departments to assess the Epic electronic health record workflow and execute optimization and training strategies. Our team delivers personalized training and implements specialty-specific Epic configuration to achieve optimal efficiency and usability.

Optimization Services

    System Enhancement Engagements 
    Eight week partnership with specialties to deliver system enhancements. Includes development of a system-wide, single, standard layout note that incorporates the latest tools from Epic & up-to-date standards from Billing, Coding, and Compliance.

    Annual Clinician EHR Training
    Annual one-on-one training for all clinicians conducted by Practice Experience Program Training Analysts assigned to support specialties.  

    Resident Training
    Partnership with Residency Programs to deliver quarterly EHR training to residents during didactic sessions. 

    Onboarding Training
    Practice Experience Program offers a two-hour, one-on-one training to all UC Davis Health new clinicians 30, 60, and 90 days post onboarding. This training enables clinicians to succeed early on in their career, increasing both physician electronic health record satisfaction and retention.

    Support for new application and project go-lives.
