Philosophy of Care

Dr. Pritzlaff's philosophy is to deliver unsurpassed patient-focused, compassionate care in pain medicine. Understanding that chronic pain is an individualized experience, he strives to tailor a treatment plan that works for each patient's unique situation. Having served as a Navy combat physician, he has a passion for treating military veterans and those affected by trauma. 

Clinical Interests

Dr. Pritzlaff is an adult interventional pain specialist with a practice focused on opioid-sparing pain management strategies, peripheral nerve and dorsal root ganglion stimulation, and innovative use of ultrasound for pain procedures. He has extensive expertise in treating patients who have chronic pain after spine and lower extremity surgery. 

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Pritzlaff's research interests focus on emerging technologies to treat peripheral neuropathic pain. He is a nationally-recognized expert in the fields of peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS) and ultrasound guidance for pain procedures. He is an author and editor of the textbook, Spinal Cord Stimulation: Percutaneous Implantation Techniques (2023).
