Philosophy of Care
Caring of premature and sick newborns requires a dedicated team and multidisciplinary approach. However, the parents play a fundamental role in helping their newly born and at UC Davis we thrive to have parents be involved in the care of their babies.
Dr. Vali cares for premature and sick newborns. He has an interest in delivery room management and actively participates in the education of neonatal health care providers to improve resuscitation of newborns.
Dr. Vali has an interest in newborn resuscitative medicine and transitioning physiology. He conducts research at the large animal facility in Davis to address fundamental gaps in knowledge concerning the physiology of newborn resuscitation.
