Philosophy of Care

Dr. Aldwinckle aims to provide excellent, up to date, safe, compassionate, individualized care. He believes in evidence based medicine, the use of multimodal analgesia, and regional analgesia to enhance peri-operative outcomes, including rapid recovery after surgery.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Aldwinckle is an attending anesthesiologist with an interest in regional anesthesia & acute pain medicine and ambulatory anesthesia. He has special expertise in ultrasound guided nerve blocks for pain relief and anesthesia. He is the Medical Director for the Same Day Surgery Center.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Aldwinckle's research focuses on perineural adjuncts to enhance regional blockade, and provide analgesia whilst minimizing side effects. He is interested in data driven care and database analysis to improve perioperative outcomes.
