Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Margolis’ transdisciplinary research seeks to define and address the diverse clinical and population health impacts of climate change-mediated environmental and psychosocial stressors, especially among medically and socially vulnerable patients and populations. Translation of her research includes informing health and public policy, and education outreach to diverse audiences to share strategies for climate change adaptation and health protection. She is also focused on developing medical education curricula for medical students and clinicians so they are prepared to prevent and/or manage the clinical and population health consequences of climate change-mediated stressors.
