Apply to UC Davis

Our program participates in the NRMP (National Resident Matching Program).  We accept applications only through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service). 

Please submit the following via ERAS  no later than Friday, October 28, 2022:

  • CV (Curriculum Vitae)
  • Personal statement
  • Medical school transcript
  • USMLE scores (or equivalent) official transcript
  • MSPE (Medical Student Performance Evaluation aka “Dean’s Letter”)
  • 3-4 Letters of Recommendation (including an anesthesiology LOR)

Please visit the UC Davis GME (Graduate Medical Education) and UC Davis HR (Human Resources) websites for information on the following:

A passing score on the USMLE Step II CK is required for all trainees beginning a UC Davis GME program June 2022.  Please officially report score via ERAS no later than Friday, February 3, 2023 to be considered for ranking at our program.

Our residents rotate through the Federal VA Health System.  All prospective male applicants must provide evidence of registration in the Selective Service System, or evidence of exempt status issued by the Veterans Affairs’ Office of Academic Affiliations (OAA) through a Status Information Letter by February 3, 2023 to be considered for ranking at our program.
