Philosophy of Care

Dr. Penta's goal is to provide compassionate, safe, and individualized care to all of her patients. 

Clinical Interests

Dr. Penta is a board-certified anesthesiologist. She completed a fellowship in regional anesthesiology and acute pain medicine. Her expertise includes performing various ultrasound-guided nerve blocks for perioperative pain control.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Penta's research interests include regional anesthesiology, specifically the implications of nerve blocks on various outcomes such as opioid use, post-operative pain scores, and post-operative nausea and vomiting. She is also dedicated to teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
