I aim to deliver informed, collaborative, and earnest care as patients navigate surgeries, procedures, or acute pain during their hospital stays.

Clinical Interests

Nathaniel Calixto is an anesthesiologist with special interest in regional anesthesia and acute pain medicine. In addition to administering intraoperative anesthesia at one of the region’s major academic centers, Dr. Calixto employs regional anesthesia techniques to assist with pain management in the perioperative and inpatient settings.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Calixto’s research is rooted in regional anesthesia and acute pain medicine, with particular interest in novel procedures and novel applications of known techniques. In addition, Dr. Calixto has a strong interest in medical education and mentorship for students and trainees at this institution and beyond.
