Bahlhorn is hospital chaplain with Sutter Health and Sutter Center for Psychiatry. A former alumnus of UC Davis Medical Center CPE Program, a member of APC, and a member of the UC Davis Professional Advisory Group for the past 5 years, currently serving as chair.
Rev. Brown-Dawson manages the Department of Chaplaincy Services and Education and is the CPE center's Certified Educator. He has trained CPE students in Lubbock (Covenant Health Systems and Dallas (Methodists Hospitals of Dallas) in Texas. He also served as CE at Sutter Health (Sacramento) and St. Mary's in San Francisco.
Davis is a retired UC Davis Health Medical Library librarian.
Rev. Christine Haider-Winnett, BCC, serves as Palliative Care and Inpatient Hospice chaplain at UC Davis Medical Center. She received her MDiv from Pacific School of Religion and completed CPE at John Muir Medical Center (Concord).
Laura King is Board Certified by the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC). She holds a Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary and completed her chaplain residency at UC Davis Medical Center. She provides chaplain support for the adult palliative service at the hospital as well as the Supportive Therapies and Enhanced Palliative Services (STEPS), which serves pediatric patients and their families. She is a published poet, an enthusiastic reader, a yoga practitioner, and a lover of animals.
Sullivan is a Board-Certified Spiritual Care Specialist, and a Certified Educator Candidate with ACPE. Sullivan received her Master of Divinity from Pacific School of Religion and her undergraduate degree from Dominican University of California. Sullivan did her first two years of residency here at UC Davis Medical Center, followed by entering the Certified Education program. She is originally from Oregon, has four grown children, is married, and is a grandmother of three beautiful grandchildren. Sullivan is a licensed Unity teacher from the Unity tradition.
Gloria O'Neal is a retired Parole Agent and a dedicated member of the UC Davis Medical Center Chaplaincy Board. With a background in Behavioral Science and over 20 years of service with the California Department of Corrections, she transitioned to volunteer work at the UC Davis Medical Center’s NICU and later became a volunteer chaplain. She also serves on the Sacramento Juvenile Justice Chaplaincy Board. Gloria is a Certified Life Coach and founded the Caring and Sharing Women’s Support Group in 2000, helping women navigate life’s challenges. Throughout her life, she has been committed to supporting others, from family to friends and strangers, with a special focus on helping women heal from personal losses. She is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
