Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) is a chronic inflammatory disorder that causes inflammation and scarring in the esophagus and has been associated with food allergens. It requires a multidisciplinary approach which includes a pediatric gastroenterologist, nurse, dietitian and allergist.
The EoE program at UC Davis is devoted to the comprehensive care for children with EoE or GI allergies with a very active role of a pediatric dietitian and gastroenterologist in ensuring that these patients receive the best care.
Families have access to the region’s only pediatric gastroenterology services with the added convenience of two clinic locations.
