Philosophy of Care
As an adolescent medicine specialist, Dr. Yasaman Ahmadieh believes that adolescence is a critical period influencing the social, psychological, and physical aspects of young people's development. She recognizes that this period can be challenging for both young people and their families, who may struggle to understand each other’s perspectives. However, it is also an exciting time for young people to explore their identities and roles within their environment. Dr. Ahmadieh is committed to integrating environmental and social factors into care to empower both families and young people in overcoming struggles and barriers during the transition to adulthood. She hopes to be the kind of doctor who gives a voice to young people, the kind she wished she had when she was a teenager.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Yasaman Ahmadieh is board-certified in pediatrics and specializes in adolescent medicine. She provides developmentally appropriate, inclusive care for adolescents and young adults (ages 10-26) of all patients.
Research/Academic Interests
Dr. Ahmadieh is dedicated to improving access to high-quality adolescent healthcare and equitable medical services for diverse populations. She is also committed to advocating for the protection of reproductive rights and access to essential healthcare services.
