Philosophy of Care

I believe in meeting children and their families where they are especially since navigating neurologic conditions can be quite intimidating. I aim to always explain my thought process and take in families' input so that we work as a team in addressing their child's medical issues together.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Galindo is a general pediatric neurologist who cares for children with various neurologic conditions related to cerebral palsy, tic disorders, developmental delays, and seizures. She has a special interest in headache management, including complicated migraines and post-traumatic headaches.

Research/Academic Interests

In addition to being a clinician, Dr. Galindo has particular interests in school advocacy and community education to help de-stigmatize and improve understanding neurologic conditions like epilepsy and headaches. She also has a passion for teaching students and trainees of all levels and making neurology accessible and enjoyable to learn.
