Project Manager, Community Engagement Alliance (CEAL) STOP COVID-19
Kristen manages a California-wide academic and community partnership program called the Community Engagement Alliance (CEAL) STOP COVID-19 that addresses COVID-19 prevention, treatment, vaccination with underserved and vulnerable communities.
She brings a multidisciplinary background to the UC Center for Reducing Health Disparities and has a keen interest in collaborative partnerships, capacity building, training and adult learning. Her recent work with UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education provided support to state agencies producing workplace curriculum and training needs assessments, a COVID-19 playbook and communication toolkits for county and community-based organization program administrators.
Her range of experience includes health education, health promotion, communications and social marketing, behavioral science, community engagement, Human Centered Design, and qualitative research. Kristen’s additional areas of interest include instructional coaching, trauma-informed practice and neurodiversity.
Kristen holds a Master’s of Science degree in Community Development & Behavioral Science from University of California, Davis and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning from University of California, Davis.
