The Center for Diagnostic Innovation is a:
- Convener that leverages the unique spectrum of multi-disciplinary talent and programs across UC Davis
- Connector to industry and other partners
- Creator and investigator of new methods to improve diagnosis, reduce error, reimagine curricula, redefine healthcare professions, and enhance the care of individuals and communities.
- Clinical resources, providing access to our CLIA-certified clinical investigational laboratory, CAP-accredited biorepository, research imaging novel machine-learning tools such a MILO, and including access to clinical specimens in the Pathology Biorepository,
- Collaborator for clinical implementation of innovative technologies
- Cross-disciplinary educator to grow the biomedical and healthcare workforce
- Cultivator of entrepreneurship
